This article will explain the different statuses a subscription can have and help you understand what is happening.
Status |
Description |
Active |
An Active Subscription is a subscription that grants access to the courses, and doesn't have any other statuses. For recurring subscriptions, active subscriptions will process renewals. |
Pending Cancellation |
When you cancel a recurring subscription, the courses remain available until the end of the current paid period. The subscription will be set to pending cancellation. |
Cancelled |
The subscription was cancelled and reached the end of its paid period. Courses will not be accessible if your subscription has this status. |
On Hold |
On Hold status means a recurring subscription has failed to process payment. This status can also be shown if you asked a support agent to suspend your subscription. Courses will not be accessible if your subscription has this status. |
Expired |
This status will only show up on redemption code subscriptions. Since these subscriptions don't recur, they will enter the expired status at the end of their length. Courses will not be accessible if your subscription has this status. |
Pending |
A rare status that is caused by attempting to use Paypal to purchase a subscription and then closing the paypal window. This can be fixed by paying the parent order, waiting a little bit, or by sending a message to support to cancel the subscription. Courses will not be accessible if your subscription has this status. |
